Clayton Alton Barron

Clayton Alton Barron, age 76, passed away on Sunday, May 08, 2011 in Trenton. Clayton was born on June 03, 1934 in Bell, FL., to Fox Barron and Stella Roberts Barron. He was a lifelong resident of Gilchrist County, a long distance truck driver and a member of Cherry Sink Church of Christ. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Carroll and Lillie Barron of Trenton, FL., and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Midway Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Watson Funeral Home. Arrangements under the care of Watson Funeral Home, 426 W.  Edna Marion Waters Barron

Edna Marion Waters Barron, 85, of Lepanto died Monday, Oct. 20, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a member of the Lepanto Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Woodford Barron. Survivors include three sons, Paul E. Barron of Morrow, Ga., Glen W. Barron of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. and John D. Barron of Bardston, Ky.; one daughter, Linda Masters of Lepanto; two brothers, Leland Rouse Waters, Jr. of Magnolia and H.J. Waters of Gainesville, Fla.; three sisters, Mary Ellen Swain of Alachua, Fla., Vida May Waters of Alachua, Fla. and Clara Nell Petree of San Antonia, TX.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Watson Funeral Home of Trenton, Florida is in charge of funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Mamie E. Waters Memorial Fund, Harding University, Searcy or the Lepanto Church of Christ L.H. Fielder Scholarship Fund.


 Francine Barron Grant

Age 76, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Trenton to Fox and Stella Barron. She was a lifelong resident of Trenton. She retired from the banking business after 25 years and was a member of Trenton Church of Christ. Survivors include husband Frank Grant of Trenton; daughter Janice Beach of Trenton; son Larry Grant of Trenton; brothers Carroll Barron and Clayton A. Barron, both of Trenton; three grandchildren L. Javan Grant of Jacksonville, Lynsey Grant and Kelci Beach, both of Trenton and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held June 7 at Trenton Church of Christ with Kent Heaton officiating. Interment followed at Midway Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Watson Funeral Home, Trenton. In lieu of flowers, donations mat be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2411 N.W. 41st St., Gainesville, FL 32606 or Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties, 311 N.E. 9th St., Chiefland, FL 32626 or to Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center, 606 N.E. 7th St. Trenton, FL 32693.
